Venue Description
The Pleasance’s famous cobblestone Courtyard has been entertaining festival audiences since 1985 and is considered by many to be the very heart of the Fringe. Come join us for the best comedy, theatre and children's shows at 'the centre of the cultural universe' (Scotsman).

The Pleasance curates an eclectic programme across all genres of comedy, theatre and children’s shows. From new writing and up and coming acts, to world renowned productions, we welcome work from anyone with a good idea. Passionately believing that the best new and unknown names should stand side-by-side, in the same programme, with the most established acts performing today.
