Home to fringe shows in the past, The Place is a city centre 4* hotel, situated in the New Town within short walking distance and close to The Stand, Edinburgh Playhouse and St Andrew Square. It's the perfect place to enjoy the Fringe and relax in between shows.

Performance Space Details - The Broughton (audience capacity 150)
The Broughton suite teams the old with the new to create something spectacular. The ornate cornicing and period features married with Swarovski crystal lights and state of the art technologies give the suites a twist of modern luxury, while keeping the historic topographies. The Broughton suite provides seating for up to 96 people on rounds, or 150 reception style.

The Raeburn is a fusion of old meets new, teaming contemporary design with Georgian features, which in turn provides us with a boutique sensation, creating something a little bit specia The Raeburn Suite can provide seating for up to 120 banquet style and 200 reception . The area is very versatile and suitable for a range of events; from private parties, through to conferences and networking events., shows and exhibitions.

The Broughton and Raeburn suites are brought together magically by sliding an imperceptible audio proof wall to create the hugely impressive York. This is a space for gala dinners, fashion shows, performances, trade shows and exhibitions. Massive screens are available with the latest technology in ambient lighting, projection and sound to give your event a fantastic buzz.

Performance Space Details - The Terrace (audience capacity 150)
The outside terrace offers a great 
al-fresco experience and open air privacy nestled in the urban Edinburgh New Town. The ideal spot for get togethers, as well as a fantastic break out space for conferences. The area is heated for those chillier days and nights, and if the weather turns, the state of the art roof can be opened or closed in just 45 seconds. The Terrace can accommodate parties of up to 200 people dependant on required furnishings.
