Venue Description
Dovecot is a world-renowned tapestry studio in the heart of Edinburgh and a landmark centre for contemporary art, craft and design. Occupying a former Victorian bath house, Dovecot offers an exciting exhibition and events programme, a shop presenting the best in contemporary Scottish design, and the Dovecot Café offering the best in seasonal food and drink.
This venue is signed up to the Best Practice Code.
What makes this venue special?
Dovecot Studios is the oldest tapestry studio in the UK, and the only operating tapestry studio in Scotland. Housed in a former Victorian bath house, the building is extraordinary with different venue options available.
