Our unique, underground venue, in the heart of Edinburgh, transports you back to an Irish country pub... Every time you go in you will see something new on the walls! Listen to live music from some of Scotland’s best live music acts and watch our ultimate sports coverage all year round. Each pint of Guinness is poured to perfection by a team with the craic to match.
What makes this venue special?
If you need an open ear, a shoulder to cry on or just a bit of craic, there's always a warm welcome and a cold pint at Kitty's. When asked to describe Kitty O'Shea's in one word, our GM Aishling said "family." Each person has their part to play...whether they manage the bars or pour the best pints of Guinness in Edinburgh, our team make Kitty's what it is. Over the years we've seen Kitty's relationships blossom, babies born and some of our team even end up living together. We instil a culture of good craic, pals and pints in our customers and in our staff which is evident from the minute you walk through the door.
Venue Programming
We're always trying to "bait the craic" at Kitty's, can you? We are looking for shows/performances and events that compliment our existing live music offering, but not strictly Irish themed. We want to show off up and coming talent as well as seasoned regulars. We're open to all kinds of shows and events from comedy to cabaret, music & exhibitions, and even podcast recordings!

We offer our customers live music 7 days a week in all our pubs. Bands and musicians play a mix of traditional Irish music as well as crowd pleasers and covers!

At Kitty O'Shea's, we have a pub within the pub, named O'Regan's, after our Operations Manager, Stephen. This space would be perfect for exhibitions. It is entirely separate from the rest of the pub and also away from the stage so exhibitions can be hosted while other performances take place.
