ESF is a huge dopamine hit with vibrant neons, 3 bars, 12 street food traders (plus additional guests) and over 550 seats inside and out. We're a city centre location, 5 mins walk from Waverley.

What makes this venue special?

Edinburgh Street Food is dog friendly and show guests can order food and drink to their tables whilst enjoying the show. We also have a moveable partition so we can make the 'customer' area as small (12 guests) or large (100 guests) as you like depending on ticket sales! We have 28.7k Instagram followers and 125k newsletter subscribers. We want to make this a success and will be happy to co-promote!

Venue Programming

As we can welcome up to 100 guests for a Fringe show and have brilliant speakers built in, we're perfect for cabaret acts, music and quirky performances. Ideally we'd like to host an event most days throughout the month between the hours of 2-5pm. However we are open to requests! We have a small raised stage which is big enough for 3 people, otherwise acts can perform on the floor. We already have a monthly comedy night at ESF which is extremely popular, as well as irregular hip hop dance performances. We're a child friendly space up until 11pm but can partition the space for a non-child friendly show. Our room divider can be moved to create intimacy for 10-20 person shows, or to accommodate up to 100 guests for more popular shows. We have built in microphones, speakers and a projector screen.

This space boasts a small stage and a combination of small triangular tables to sit 3-4, standing tables and long communal tables with benches. It is divided from the main space with a partition which can be moved. We're inviting performances looking for capacities of 20-100 to enquire.
