An Old-Town haven, primely located beside key Fringe sites - Bristo & George Sq, Underbelly stage, Assembly and Festival Theatres and Royal Mile. Our events space offer a striking and unique venue opportunity. Our building is rich in history and intrigue - once serving as the notorious bedlam asylum. Now; a stunning Hotel & Bistro, boasting a sunny courtyard with Cigar Bothy and Whisky Snug, popular with tourists, locals and visitors.

Our event space is both unique, and intriguing. Our building is rich in history and intrigue - once serving as the notorious bedlam asylum, science lab and now our beautiful hotel. We perfectly capture the quintessential Edinburgh experience, mixed with our classic French twist. Burke & Hare - Largest room, boasting a collection of intriguing and original art which adorns the walls. This is further complemented by a bespoke Burke & Hare mural which covers an entire wall, it can accommodate up to a maximum of 50 people (theatre style). Bedlam - Benefits from an impressive, original vaulted stone ceiling as its focal point and can accommodate up to 12 people for an intimate venue space or welcoming entrance chamber to adjoining Burke & Hare. Whisky Snug This cosy, and quintessentially British snug offers tartan carpets, working fireplace, whisky and cigar collection and views to our beautiful courtyard. For up to 30 people.

Burke & Hare - Our largest event space, boasting a collection of intriguing and original anatomical art which adorns the walls, including bespoke Burke & Hare mural which covers an entire wall, it can accommodate up to a maximum of 60 people (theatre style). Beautiful by day, and even more stunning by candlelight, this room is sure to wow your guests. Quick access to accessible bathrooms, restaurant and reception for visitor ease. Available Set-Up Styles: Theatre, Cabaret, Boardroom or empty.

This cosy, and quintessentially British snug offers tartan carpets, working fireplace, whisky and cigar collection and views to our beautiful courtyard. For up to 30 people. This is a flexible space that can be used for many different shows. With fantastic natural daylight from full wall windows, and cosy lamps and dimmable lighting.
