Outdoor swimming

Laura Horton PR

Liz Richardson, who has created and is performing in SWIM at the Pleasance - a new show about how wild swimming can help people through grief, is inviting fringe workers to join her for a group dip in the North sea during the festival to help support wellbeing during the month. There will be a number of performers and backstage workers joining her.

The festival can be a gruelling month and outdoor swimming can support wellbeing and provide a calming immersion for people. Liz Richardson wanted to share her positive experiences of outdoor swimming and provide an opportunity for people to break away from the festival and spend a few hours with other people swimming in the North sea off Portobello beach. A time to switch off and tune into nature.
