Unspoken - Media Launch

Bravo 22 Company

Injured and ill veterans from the cast of Unspoken, a powerful and funny Fringe premiere inspired by the stories of 100 ex-service men and women, will hold a photo call and media opportunity at the Poppy Factory in Edinburgh.

Among those present will be the unstoppable Luke Delahunty. Paralysed from the chest down he has nonetheless twice competed for his country at the Invictus Games, won the Soldiering On People’s Choice national award and recently completed a charity hand cycle ride from London to Paris. And now he is going on stage.

Bravo 22 Company, Poppy Scotland and the Royal British Legion have joined forces to raise awareness of the challenges and the inspiring achievements of sick and injured veterans.

The cast want to highlight Poppy Scotland's support for the courage and sacrifice of all those who have served, and made sacrifices, in conflict. They see 2018 as an especially important moment as it is the centenary of the end of World War I.
